Just hop (just like the White Rabbit) into any stores from Zara, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop or even Mango and you will be inspired by all the wonderful colors of Spring and Summer. Peach, lightest shade of pink, lavender, sky blue… reminding you of innocent, simpler and pretty times. On to another store and you will see neon pink, lime green, fushia… a homage to the 80s (if you were even born yet!) but with the trends of the 2000s!

Hey it’s that time of year again, for some motherly love and appreciation! In celebration of mommies dearest; we’ve put together something for each and every different persona of mothers available based on *drumroll* the characters of Desperate Housewives; well minus their desperations of course for we love to love their wardrobe! *grin*

Lynette the Super Mom; she’s basically the all-rounder mom. This mama juggles everything from a 9-5 career, goes home in time to cook, deals with her kid’s homework and still finds time to pamper herself. Her style is a bit eclectic sophisticated, simple and casual or even OTT. Bags for these moms are something that’s a little bit of everything, has many compartments, usually faux meets casual fabrics and material and nothing too luxurious. It’s the bag that takes her from day to night without a single glitch, a house packed and ready to go of course!

Bree the Domestic Goddess; she is perfectionist who sees into every detail that transform a house into a home. She runs the house like she’s running an organization, everything proper organized, and perfectly in place. For these moms, bags that are very sophisticated yet purposeful are recommended. Something with a designer air to it to give a hint of classiness. For someone this obsessively in control, the bag has to hold well together, so think structure like satchels (nothing lazy and slouchy!). It can be big, it can be small but in the end, it’s the perfect details like intricate weavings on the Bottega and petal ruffles on the Valentino that will touch her heart.

Susan the Mom Next Door; is basically the down- to-earth working mom though not exactly domesticated. She works hard to keep her family together so she’s tough like that. Her style is much more casual and an expression of her personality. We suggest a simple, functional yet feminine bag for these moms that fit her lifestyle yet celebrates the woman she is. Stay away from loud, fancy or too bold colours. Medium-sized shoulder bags, hobos or totes are a sure-win here.

Gabrielle the Hot Mama; is what we call the trophy wife or mom. She’s got great style to boot and sashays around household chores like the queen of the house! Not to be messed with, she’s of course the domesticated version of a femme fatale. Moms like these always have a strong personal style that shouts out loud. As chic and as fashionable as any of us younger generations, she’s not afraid to try out the new styles and fashions. So we agreed for bags that has the va-va voom factor and makes a bold statement to the world. Think bold colours, limited edition designers, metallics and big brand names from the likes of Chanel, Prada and LVs.

Ever felt like déjà vu when dressing up? Especially when gearing up for another week at work or school? Yeah we know that feeling too, though in Wonderland, it’s quite more flexible since we’ve got dearest Mad Hatter as our stylist! *wink*

Classy Monday, it’s time to dress as formally possible to adhere the ruling system. Just think Red Queen’s entourage in their matching colours of red (of course!), yeah that pretty much sums it.  Well, you can still look corporate-ish but with a touch of class, put on a structured jacket or perhaps if you’re bold enough a corset vest! Get that clean look with a swept up ponytail or a tight bun do.

Colours like navy blue, grey, white, black, cream and beige are strongly suited to properly achieve the look but try to be bold by accessorizing a bit with chunky gold/bronze bracelets, or layered chains.

To add a zest of colours go for colourful rocks on those slender fingers! That’ll sure to pop. Bags, yes that’s an all time essential for us ladies so go for something that’s functional yet classy but it doesn’t have to necessary be a boxy briefcase or an oversize hobo. You can always opt for those with faux leather materials even if you’d still love for a splash of colours. *wink*

Girly Tuesday makes it a whole lot easier for us, there’s no need for an exact dress code! *phew* So put on your flirty girly look I say, because what’s better than a girly Tuesday, right? Put on a dress; tie a scarf around the neck, whatever it is, make it your own as it’s the day to let down your hair and don’t forget hairpieces make a great statement piece! *grin*

For those who love light flouncy material, opt for a tiered chiffon dress or top. That’ll sure to add volume in all the right places. Colours plays a role too so don’t be stingy with that, but sure enough, prints are the easier way to go. Floral prints are very much in, just don those pastel hues and it’ll sure to make you appear more feminine.

For make-up, minimal is the best, so go with an au naturel look instead by focusing on one and only one feature, your best of course. And last but not least the bags, go with something quirky flirty, something that goes from class to the park or mall; but nothing too baggy or too small, just practical enough of course.

Mid of the week and things are slowly slowing down again, with work starting to pile up and yet you’re all probably looking forward for end of the day for a dose of American Idol because hooray it’s Wednesday! Well though some might head home for a couch potato session there’s no reason to not opt for a chic look throughout the day. *wink*

Chic Wednesday is here to suit both work and play. It’s the best combination that’ll leave you looking the part without going OTT on the whole. Get neutral pieces and mix and matched or better yet opt for pieces that says work on the top and play down below or vice versa. It’s all about getting the right match by mixing it up a bit. Sheer blouse with crisp pants, or structured top with bandage skirts.

Now, once you’ve got the right look going, the makeup should complement the look of course and remember still, less is more. But this time, play it up a little with your eyes or lips by opting rather bold colours. As for hair, you don’t exactly need to get a whole new haircut to achieve the Rihanna do or those celebrities you love to adore, just put in some product and tease it a bit, that ought to do the trick. *wink*

Of course other essentials would come to the right accessories, and always go for something that screams or rather just bling. Go for cutesy charm bracelets or chandelier earrings. Chunky rings works just fine anyway. But most importantly is the bag! Go for something sophisticated yet pretty and screams Serious Fun! Colours are an in thing these days but go for something with a rather glossy finish.

Tick the clocks keeps going and Funky Thursday is here to bring some cheering fun time because it’s nearing the end of the tiresome cycle once more. Spread some cheer and fun around by putting on some funky vibe to your style in dressing even if you’ve got that important client meet or presentation to give.

This is the very day to really play with the colour palette. Add some funky items, to your dressing and that’ll sure to take one from drab to fab, not that you ever were of course. It’s just that week after week most of us would run out of clothes to wear so I say, recycle what you’ve already got and just play it up a bit.

Go for colourful tops, from pastels to bright neons, either way you can never go wrong. If it’s a two piece go for a monochrome bottom so as to not make you a walking billboard because none could actually pull the colour mosaic look better than Agyness Deyn, but if you’re bold enough, we say why not?!

When it comes to achieving the right amount of funkiness, the hairstyling part of it is just to go for sleek or completely messy, because even bed head looks great nowadays! Take a note from miss Fame Monster herself, Lady Gaga sure dress funky enough. Makeup as usual, you can either go for neutral or extreme stage looks.

Accessorizing would be the most fun exciting phase of dressing up on Thursday, because you can always go with candy necklaces even, colourful items, or even glow in the dark gladiator heels like those that both Fergie and Katy P loves to love and wear! As for bags, just go for something that says crazy beautiful with colours or patterns, geometrical to be exact and the less than convenient material or feel.

Finally, Casual Friday arrives with a laidback feel to it for the weekend arrives with promises of some sleep in, fine dining, great conversation and intriguing companions. As Mad Hatter would say, casual is always the best way though perhaps his interpretation would mean a top hat and some double breasted jacket. But of course a pair of jeans won’t do much justice so go for something less but more we say!

Put on an oversized printed tee, not the usual statement ones but those with animal prints, a face of the wolf for all you New Moon fans, or tigers and even lions as well. Add a little bowler hat, fedora or even mail boy cap and voila your bad hair day woes (if you’re having one) are hidden from the rest of the world’s view!

Instead of going for the usual boot-cut or even straight cut, go for a wide leg or high waisted jeans instead! That’ll give more depth apart from adding some length. Opt for flats, like pumps, flats and even sneakers instead. That foot needs some loving rest too apart from completing the casual look. Throw on a vest or a hooded cardigan if you must!

Makeup should be at minimal as its back to basics once more. Prep your skin the night before with a dab of toner and night moisturizer for a little more balance. Go for a lip balm instead or if you must some lip stain. Keep the glow with a lightly dabbed blusher and you’re ready to go.

A leather wristlet or band would be perfect, or go for long chains around the neck. Layer them as it’s the current trend, or go for those with intricate lockets instead. The key to a casual look is simplicity and minimalism. So again, less is more.

Finally, that one last piece before you walk out the door, don’t forget your bag! The best is to go for something vintage yet casual. Go for lazy materials like denim or canvas. Opt for a sling bag instead, for it’ll give a more laidback feel. If you’re still a shoulder bag fan, go for something that has both. *wink*

Hopefully, we’ve helped you get some ideas on how to spice your week a little. You can always mix them up a bit and not go with the same cycle every other week, just shuffle them around. Have fun dressing up, because we did while writing this for you!

Trends We Love: Jumpsuits

If you buy only one piece of to update your wardrobe to jumpstart the new year, make it the jumpsuit. This season’s trends in sleek, sexy jumpsuits are a far cry from the flying suit styles of the 70s.

Like it or not, the jumpsuits are back on the fashion radar. We are loving these numbers because they are everything fashion should be; flattering, easy to wear, sexy and hip. This season’s trend is catching on fast with celebrities seen sporting this enthralling number. Our favourites include: Terri Seymore, Rihanna (in a playsuit) and Monica. Each define how the jumpsuit trouser legs can be wide, cuffed, or narrow, with a variation in length from, floor hugging, cut offs, play suits, knee length or three quarter length.

Don’t be put off jumpsuits when you see a shapeless mass on the hanger in a store.  These are garments, which need bodies to fill them, and heels that stride out, only then will the jumpsuit burst into life.

OMG i’m soooo loving them to bits!!! >.< although i bought the birkin inspired bag in red for my mom (which i’m sure she’s going to love it) i don’t think she minds if i wanna borrow it from her hehe. i can’t resist. its just too pretty >.<
and the chanel inspired bag in hot pink, all i can say is WOAH!!! :O its larger than my usual chanel inspired bags!! which is cool since i can bring whatever i want without worrying that it will not fit my bag x) and its just sooo GORGEOUSSSS!!!! now my lonely chanel inspired bag in blue which i bought from you earlier have a new friend :P she won’t be lonely now! hehe.

Fact 1. They can get out of shape from your sleep.

Sleeping facedown won’t deflate your breasts, but it can make them misshapen over time. The best sleeping position is to sleep on your side, with a pillow under them for support as you sleep.

Fact 2. They hate to bounce around.

Running and aerobics can cause your breasts to bounce around, inadequate support will result in breast sagging earlier, and breast pain the next day. Wear a sturdier sports bra that has underwire and moulded cups, no matter what your size.

Fact 3. But the right exercise can give them a little lift.

Breasts contain no muscle tissue, so there’s no exercise that can change their shape. But you can make them look firmer or perkier by regularly exercising the pectoral muscle Push-ups and chest presses are your best boobs boosting bets.

Fact 4. Breasts get fatter as you get older.

When you’re in your twenties, your mammary glands are comprised of fat, milk glands and collagen. As you get older, the collagen and milk glands get replaced by – you guessed it – more fat. Unfortunately, the fat doesn’t make the breasts larger. It makes them sag more. (Note – don’t think that the extra fat in the breast makes you weigh a lot more. Breast fat doesn’t add that much girth to your body. An “A” cup weighs in at a quarter of a pound while a “D” cup is about one pound.)

Fact 5. Watch out, they can get sunburned even if you’re not topless.

Apply sunscreen lotion with a minimum SPF 15 plus UVA and UVB protection each time you hit the great outdoors in your bathing suit. Without it, premature wrinkling and brown spots most probably will find their way onto your precious pair.

Fact 6. Cleavage is not determined by breast size.

2 women with same cup size may not have the same cleavage. Woman’s breasts that are fuller in the middle will have greater cleavage. Woman with only an A or B cup but with her breasts naturally set close together, can have nice cleavage too. In addition, if your body is narrow below your shoulders, you’ll have an easier time creating a deeper valley between your 2 peaks.

Fact 7. The left is usually larger.

No two breasts are exactly the same size, and it is usually your left breast that is bigger than the right side. However, often the difference is so slight, you’d never notice they are of different sizes.

Fact 8. Take them to see your doctor at the right time.

Because your boobs are at their smoothest and least tender the week after your period, it’s the best time to have your doctor check out any unusual lumpiness or swelling.

Using a running stitch, she quilted the bag in a diamond or herringbone pattern.

In February 1955, the bag was equipped with eyelets through which its leather-threaded chain strap was inserted.

Voila! The 2.55(named after the date of its creation) – was born  *applause*
